Key Qualifications:

Active COTA certification and California state licensure required Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is strongly preferred Solid understanding of school-based occupational therapy practices and techniques Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Strong organizational and documentation abilities Compassion, patience, and a student-focused mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as guided by individualized education plans (IEPs) Implement treatment activities that promote students' independence, participation, and academic development Document progress and maintain accurate records per district and state requirements Collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and families to support each student's unique needs Contribute to IEP meetings, sharing observations and input for student growth and success Adapt and modify activities or classroom materials for accessibility and engagement
