Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (MHRS)/Counselor -Swing Shift M-Th

Seeking one, FT, Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialists (MHRS) to work a weekday swing shift, Monday-Thursday. This position will be assigned to provide direct rehabilitation/IHBS service to adolescent males, who have emotional and behavioral problems. Our facility is a VERY structured and reputable boys Short Term Residential Treatment Program (STRTP) (formerly group home). You should know that we are NOT your typical, chaotic, unstructured, out of control group home or STRTP. Our program his highly sought after by placing agencies state-wide. We boast some of the best success/outcomes/stabilization rates in the entire State of California and we're seeking a top tier individual to join our top tier team. Some of the minimum qualifications for this positions include, but are not limited to: 1. Be 21 years of age or older. 2. Pass a pre-employment physical, TB test, fingerprint background clearance and successful Credentialing process. 3. Possess a valid CDL and good driving record. 4. Pass a pre-employment drug screening. 5. Have excellent written documentation skills. 6. Prior MHRS experience is highly desirable, but not required. 7. Position requires one of the following to meet qualifications for

Medi-Cal Credentialing:

A) Associates Degree and six (6) years of mental health, residential treatment, group home, counseling, or child care worker experience. B) Bachelors Degree and four (4) years of mental health, residential treatment, group home, counseling, or child care worker experience. C) Masters Degree and two (2) years of mental health, residential treatment, group home, counseling or child care worker experience. The weekday swing-shift MHRS position is scheduled: Monday-Thursday 12:00pm-10:00pm or 1:00pm-11:00pm (Off Fri-Sun every week) Starting pay for the weekday swing-shift MHRS position is $25.00hr-$30.00/hr, depending upon education level and years of qualified work experience.
