2026-2027 School Year A school district in Grass Valley, CA is seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide support to students in an educational environment. This contract position offers flexible scheduling options with part-time (.5) or full-time availability for the 2026-2027 academic year.Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students in a school setting to enhance their academic performance and daily living skills Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other educational staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Assess student needs and progress, documenting treatment plans and outcomes accurately Modify therapeutic activities to meet students' unique goals and promote engagement within the classroom Participate in team meetings and maintain compliance with school policies and relevant regulationsQualifications:
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential, current and valid Experience working in school-based occupational therapy preferred Strong understanding of educational environments and student needs Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to adapt therapy techniques to various student populationsBenefits:
