Your Toolkit Should Include:
B.A./B.S.
in a mental health-related field + 1 year of experience with SED youth; or Two years of college + 3 years of experience; or High school diploma + 4 years of relevant experience Ability to work effectively within a multicultural, multidisciplinary team Strong communication, documentation, and crisis-response skills Valid CA driver's license and insurable driving record Commitment to confidentiality, sound judgment, and child safety (mandated reporter) Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Leading individual and group skill-building activities that support social, emotional, and behavioral growth Partnering with therapists to reinforce treatment goals in the milieu setting Observing, documenting, and contributing to the ongoing assessment of each child's progress Modeling healthy communication, boundaries, and coping strategies Supporting children through de-escalation techniques, time-outs, and behavioral interventions Participating in Child & Family Team meetings and contributing to care planning Providing transportation for clients and assisting with daily milieu operations Delivering rehabilitative services focused on functional skills, daily living skills, social skills, grooming, hygiene, and medication support Linking families to community resources and collaborating with schools, agencies, and clinical staff Completing high-quality documentation that meets State of California standards Perks That Pack a
