Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a difference supporting students' success by working as a Paraprofessional Aide in a virtual OT setting for the new school year. This contract position plays a key part in ensuring every learner receives the support and guidance they need to thrive in an online educational environment. If you have a passion for helping students and value the flexibility of remote assignments, this opportunity could be the perfect fit. What we're looking for: Experience as a paraprofessional in a school or educational setting Familiarity with virtual or online instructional platforms Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow therapy plans under supervision Excellent verbal and written communication skills Compassion, patience, and a commitment to student growth Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with occupational therapists and general education staff Key responsibilities: Support students during virtual occupational therapy sessions by assisting with assignments, activities, and engagement Help implement and reinforce therapy strategies and individualized plans developed by licensed OT professionals Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to supervising therapists Encourage active participation, positive attitudes, and independence in students during virtual sessions Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all guidelines regarding student privacy and wellbeing Adapt to changing schedules and support needs efficiently in a remote learning environment Working in this contract role gives you the chance to support students in achieving their full potential during the new school year, all while engaging with leading educators and therapists in a collaborative virtual space.
