In partnership with twenty-six Counties and Behavioral Health Departments across California, Psynergy provides rehabilitation and specialty mental health services to individuals afflicted with complex and chronic mental illness. Our adjoining outpatient clinics provide and support the highest levels of service to our clients. About You We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (MHRS) with experience working in a treatment environment supporting individuals diagnosed with a chronic mental illness (ex: schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD). As a Rehab Specialist, you will be part of an amazing team of Behavioral Health Service Providers, Nurses, Therapists and Psychiatrists providing the highest level of outpatient treatment to this underserved population.   • preferred Your Responsibilities Your role as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (MHRS) is to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assist clients retain, practice and learn new skills that will help prevent unnecessary hospitalizations and stabilize housing.
The goal is to see clients through their individual recovery process and to celebrate graduations from treatment back to home counties, families, and friends. As a MHRS you will be: Provide evidence based-addiction treatment services and curriculum! Provide 2-3 substance use disorder groups per week. Work with the most complex cases requiring individual and group services from a certified professional. Providing at least 20 hours per week of face-to-face time of allowable services to clients Providing individual and group rehabilitation services Providing case management Conducting risk assessments Providing crisis intervention services Facilitating groups including Equine, DBT, CBT, DRA, Grief and Loss Helping clients develop healthy connections and activities. Linking clients to outside community resources including ID, benefits, outpatient appointments, vetted support groups (example
AA/NA/DRA
