Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential occupational therapy support in a school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role offers part-time hours—typically 10 to 15 per week—making it ideal for those seeking a balanced schedule while making a positive difference in students' daily lives. In this role, you'll collaborate with licensed Occupational Therapists and educational staff to implement therapy plans, help students with diverse needs, and support their participation and success in the classroom.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in California Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly valued Excellent communication and organizational skills Comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Follow treatment plans and interventions designed by supervising Occupational Therapist Work directly with students to develop or restore functional skills needed in the school environment Document and track student progress in accordance with school and regulatory requirements Collaborate and communicate with teachers, staff, and families to coordinate care and maximize effectiveness Participate in meetings and professional development as needed This contract position is ideal for professionals seeking meaningful part-time work during the academic year.
