In this role you will work alongside and under the direct, on-site supervision of our Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), supporting the delivery of patient care in a busy outpatient setting. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to clinical practice while building experience for a future career in rehabilitation or sports medicine. This is a support role. All patient-related tasks are performed only when the supervising DPT is physically present and as specifically directed. The position does not involve independent clinical judgment, evaluation, or treatment. Responsibilities Prepare and clean treatment areas, equipment, and supplies before and between patient visits Set up exercise and treatment equipment as directed by the DPT Greet, escort, and assist patients to and from treatment areas Provide general, non-clinical assistance during sessions under the direct supervision and at the direction of the DPT Maintain a safe, organized, and tidy clinic environment Manage laundry, stocking, and general inventory of clinic supplies Assist with non-clinical administrative and scheduling support as needed Other general support duties that do not require clinical judgment What This Role Does Not Include To remain within scope, this position does not involve performing patient evaluations, designing or modifying treatment plans, independently administering therapeutic interventions or modalities, progressing exercises, or documenting treatment in patient records. These remain the responsibility of the licensed DPT. Qualifications Current enrollment in a kinesiology, pre-physical therapy, exercise science, or athletic training program (or recent graduate) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to follow instructions precisely and work as part of a care team CPR/BLS certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
