Exodus Recovery is seeking a Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (MHRS) to join our Day Treatment Intensive Program in Vista, serving adults experiencing serious mental illness and co-occurring behavioral health needs. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you'll play an important role in helping participants build life skills, strengthen recovery supports, increase independence, and successfully reintegrate into their communities.   • 4:30 PM) ✔ Program operates in accordance with County-approved service hours and holiday schedules ✔ No Routine Evening or Weekend Shifts ✔ Adults-Only Population ✔ Facilitate Groups and Recovery-Oriented Activities ✔ Collaborative Multidisciplinary Team ✔ Opportunity to Help Shape a Growing Behavioral Health Service ✔ Meaningful Work That Makes a Difference Every Day What You'll Do Facilitate rehabilitation, recovery, wellness, and life-skills groups Support participants in developing coping skills and independent living skills Assist participants with community integration and recovery planning Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings Provide encouragement, coaching, and support throughout the treatment process Help create a positive, welcoming, and recovery-oriented therapeutic environment Support participant engagement, attendance, and treatment participation Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Behavioral Health, Rehabilitation, or related field preferred Must meet Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist qualifications Experience working with adults experiencing serious mental illness preferred Experience facilitating groups, teaching life skills, or supporting recovery-oriented services strongly preferred Strong communication, engagement, and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team Valid CA driver's license and a good driving record About the Program The Day Treatment Intensive (DTI) Program provides structured outpatient behavioral health treatment for adults experiencing serious mental illness and co-occurring behavioral health needs.
The program includes both Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services, offering participants a higher level of support than traditional outpatient treatment while helping them remain connected to their communities. Participants attend therapeutic groups, receive individualized support, engage in medication and recovery services, and work toward goals related to symptom stabilization, independent living, wellness, and community reintegration. Many participants transition to the program following hospitalization, crisis services, or other higher levels of care and benefit from a multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping them build lasting stability and independence.
