Orlando, FL Job Details Contract From $23 an hour 1 day ago Benefits On-the-job training Flexible schedule Qualifications Interpersonal skills High school diploma or GED Bachelor's degree Organizational skills Human Services Full Job Description Job Overview Candidate will provide goal-oriented and individualized support through assessment, planning, monitoring, development and maintenance of necessary daily living skills, food planning and preparation, money management, maintenance of the living environment, and training in appropriate use of community services. Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services can include the following to facilitate cognitive and socialization skills necessary for functioning in a work environment and maintaining independence: work readiness assessments, job development on behalf of the recipient, job matching, and on-the-job training and support. The candidate for this position is expected to be professional, proficient, knowledgeable, and responsible for providing services that connect clients and their families to the services driven by the client's service plan. Responsibilities Performs functions involved with assessment, including initial contact with the client, facility personnel, and parent/legal guardian (if client is a minor) regarding the client's needs, presenting problems, and any other related issues. Develops goal-oriented PSR - Recovery Treatment Plan . The plan will include activities that will ensure clients' success in meeting their needs. Work with clients in an appropriate environment including the client's home. Participates in client staffing to ensure that services in the PSR - Recovery Treatment Plan respond to the strengths and needs of the client. Communicate with client's therapist, and other members of the treatment team including family members. Monitors client's progress and needs through regular discussion with the client, therapist, and family. Adherence to healthcare ethics and policies regarding documentation and billing following all Policies & Procedures including Protected Health Information (PHI), HIPPA as required by Federal & state laws. Strong team player. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, professional trainings, and seminars. Education Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university/college with a major in counseling, social work, psychology, nursing, rehabilitation, special education, health education, or a related human services field. OR High School Diploma, general equivalency degree or higher and certified as one of the following: Certified recovery peer specialist Certified psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner Certified recovery support specialist Certified behavioral health technician Experience 1 year of PSR experience in a mental health organization, preferred Basic Knowledge of case management / crisis management Skills Summary Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to appropriately handle confidential information Awareness of the social, economic and cultural factors that affect families Ability to travel and make home visits Ability to set appropriate boundaries with clients Ability to work flexible hours Ability to interact professionally with other agency personnel, community providers, GALS, attorneys, judges, school personnel, etc.
