Non-Exempt Position Summary The Student Aide supports clinical and administrative operations, as appropriate within a healthcare environment while gaining exposure to patient care workflows. This role assists licensed staff with non‑clinical tasks, promotes a safe and organized care setting, and contributes to positive patient experiences. It is designed for students pursuing a career in healthcare. General Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities. Observes department flow, skills, tasks, etc., assists as appropriate. Provide general support, including stocking supplies, preparing rooms, and maintaining clean, orderly work areas. Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, answering phones, and managing documents. Complies with all established safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. Participates in performance improvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned. Education Requirements High School diploma / Equivalent Required Must be enrolled in current accredited program at college/university Experience Requirements Must meet College to Career Student Work Pathway Program criteria Must have a strong interest in healthcare careers with a willingness to learn within a clinical setting Healthcare experience preferred Additional Skills Ability to work independently, prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to adapt quickly and learn in a dynamic healthcare environment
