Job Description

Lake Park High School is currently hiring for the full-time (10-Month) position of Health Aide as detailed below:

QUALIFICATIONS
: At least 19 years of age Educator License with Stipulations for Paraprofessional - ELS (PARA), or Substitute (SUB) High school diploma or equivalent CPR/First Aid Certification Proficient with PCs, tablets, and other mobile electronic devices Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and cloud-based applications Familiar with data management systems and analysis Attention to detail and experience proofing, editing, and formatting publications Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed Effective interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills Strong organizational skills Strong orientation toward providing customer service Strong work ethic Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to work positively and productively with adults and high school-age students
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

SALARY & BENEFITS
$21.42 to $22.30 per hour, based on experience and level of education, per
Appendix B:
Department and Building Assistance Rate Schedule (Health Aide) of the District's Negotiated Agreement. This is a benefits-eligible position, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and participation in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF).
