Job Summary Summary:

Responsible for providing assistance to clinicians for performing routine exercises or follow-up of functional activities (direct patient care) under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist or therapy assistant as well as maintaining departmental equipment and working area in clean, orderly condition. Yes Essential Functions:

• Prepares patients for treatment by therapist.
• Assists therapists during therapy, as needed.
• Attends and actively participates in team meetings.
• Transfers and transports patients in a safe and timely manner.
• Maintains equipment and working area in clean, orderly condition.
• Serves as Clinical Chaperone to Sensitive Exams, per policy, as needed.
• Supports clerical front desk functions as needed.
• Completes departmental tasks as assigned.

Qualifications Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?

Yes Experience:

Experience working as a Rehab Aide 0-1 year preferred but not required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Excellent attention to detail. Ability to multi-task as needed.
• Good bedside manner.
• Good physical strength and stamina for active role in busy clinical environment.
