Responsible for providing assistance to clinicians for performing routine exercises or follow-up of functional activities (direct patient care) under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist or therapy assistant as well as maintaining departmental equipment and working area in clean, orderly condition. Does this position require Patient Care?Yes Essential Functions:
- Prepares patients for treatment by therapist.
- Assists therapists during therapy, as needed.
- Attends and actively participates in team meetings.
- Transfers and transports patients in a safe and timely manner.
- Maintains equipment and working area in clean, orderly condition.
- Serves as Clinical Chaperone to Sensitive Exams, per policy, as needed.
- Supports clerical front desk functions as needed.
- Completes departmental tasks as assigned.
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?Yes Experience:
Experience working as a Rehab Aide 0-1 year preferred but not required.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Excellent attention to detail. Ability to multi-task as needed.
- Good bedside manner.
- Good physical strength and stamina for active role in busy clinical environment.

degree programs.
