Our care philosophy is guided by the following core principles: Dignity and Respect Information Sharing Participation Collaboration The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)/Rehab Aide is responsible for performing assigned duties in accordance with NRHN policies, procedures, and standards of care while supporting the organization s mission, values, and commitment to quality outcomes. Essential Responsibilities The PTA/Rehab Aide is responsible for assisting the outpatient department by performing clerical and housekeeping duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist and/or Speech Language Pathologist. The PTA/Rehab Aide also performs the duties of a licensed PTA as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist with competence in skills and professionalism treating a variety of ages including pediatrics, adolescent, adult and geriatric clients. The PTA/Rehab Aide actively participates in the growth and development of their Department/Clinic, including quality management. . Qualifications Meets qualifications for Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) The PTA/Rehab Aide is a PTA and must be licensed in their state of hire and eligible for licensure in alternate state (licensed to be obtained within 3 months of hire). Trained and certified biennially in BLS Healthcare Provider Level CPR. The PTA/Rehab Aide is required to work a minimum of two evenings per week unless approved by a Senior OP Director.
