GED Full Job Description About Us:
We are a compassionate, patient-centered Skilled Nursing Facility dedicated to providing exceptional rehabilitative care. Our interdisciplinary team works collaboratively to help residents regain independence and improve their quality of life. We're currently seeking a motivated and caring Rehabilitation Technician to support our therapy department.
Position Summary:
As a Rehabilitation Technician, you'll play a vital role in assisting physical, occupational, and speech therapists with treatment sessions, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist therapists with patient mobility, transfers, and exercises under supervision Prepare treatment areas and maintain cleanliness and safety standards Transport residents to and from therapy sessions Manage therapy equipment inventory and ensure proper functioning Document patient interactions and progress as directed Support therapists with administrative tasks and scheduling
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Prior experience in a rehab or healthcare setting preferred CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift and assist residents safely Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Why Join Us?
