Job Description

  • Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Provide direct patient care and therapeutic interventions as directed by the supervising OT
  • Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient goals and overall well-being
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs Required Qualifications
  • Active COTA licensure or certification in the state of Maryland
  • NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to work day shift hours Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric occupational therapy setting
