Job Description

Ark of Rehabilitation. is currently looking for part-time Rehabilitation specialist; working 2-3 days a week in the office. Rehabilitation specialist will be able to run our PRP program, coordinate day-to days PRP program structure and manage staffs caseloads and all intakes' assessments are completed within admission period. The Rehabilitation Specialist must be knowledgeable about Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program and the COMAR regulation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Rehabilitation Specialist must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Psychiatric Rehabilitation assessments, Individual Rehabilitation Plans (IRP) The Rehabilitation Specialist must be able to educate, monitor, supervise and support all PRP Counselor staffs. The Rehabilitation Specialist should have experience conducting individual and group, psychotherapy for children and adults and experience planning therapeutic group activities. Excellent communication skills and excellent written skills. Complete intake and assessments in the community Complete authorizations in Carelon system. Develop Individual Rehabilitation Plans for each new admission clients, with domain, short and long-term goals, and interventions. Conduct PRP intakes and obtaining all necessary signatures for appropriates paperwork of minors/ adults starting PRP. Lead and coordinate Individual Rehabilitation Program team meetings with engaged stakeholders, including therapists and consumers. Advising the program director regarding development and implementation of rehabilitation services that reflect the need of the clients served by the program.
