Job Description

Overview The Rehabilitation Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting individuals with various challenges to achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life. This position involves working collaboratively with clients to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans that may include therapeutic techniques such as art therapy, psychopharmacology, and gender issues counseling. The ideal candidate should have years of experience running a PRP agency, have the skills and ability to possess an holistic view of how a PRP agency operates. They will possess a compassionate approach and a strong commitment to empowering clients through their recovery journey. Responsibilities Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' needs, strengths, and areas for improvement. Develop personalized rehabilitation plans in collaboration with clients and other healthcare professionals. Implement therapeutic interventions, including art therapy techniques to promote self-expression and healing. Provide counseling on psychopharmacology to help clients understand their medication regimens and manage side effects. Address gender issues in counseling sessions, ensuring a supportive environment for all clients. Monitor clients' progress and adjust rehabilitation plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care tailored to each client's unique situation. Requirements Must have a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Must be a certified CPRP and CFRP or LCSW-C Must have years of experience running a PRP agency Must have experience Training and supervising Rehabilitation Counselors Must have experience creating treatment plans and assessments. Must be a team player; and work alongside the management team and staff members to achieve a common goal Experience in rehabilitation services or mental health counseling is highly desirable. Knowledge of art therapy practices and the ability to integrate them into treatment plans. Understanding of psychopharmacology principles and the ability to communicate effectively about medications. Familiarity with gender issues counseling and sensitivity towards diverse populations. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate records. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
