Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist (PRP Specialist) to provide community-based mental health services. This role focuses on helping clients build life skills, improve functioning, and connect to essential resources. Services are provided in the community, client homes, and our office locations. Key Responsibilities Provide PRP services based on individualized rehabilitation plans (IRPs) Support clients with daily living skills, coping skills, and independence Assist with employment readiness, education, and community integration Connect clients to housing, transportation, and other community resources Collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, and care teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation (progress notes, IRPs, etc.) Ensure compliance with Maryland PRP regulations and agency policies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, or related field Minimum 3 year of experience in behavioral health or human services preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently in community settings Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required) PRP or case management experience Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders Familiarity with Maryland COMAR regulations Schedule & Work Environment Full-time position Community-based role (travel required) Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay (based on experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) Ongoing training and career growth opportunities Why Join NDNS?
