Job Description

We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Jefferson City, MO. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help residents regain skills needed for daily life and support functional goals. This role requires on-site presence during scheduled hours to meet productivity and facility requirements. Please review the minimum qualifications and assignment details below before applying. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college. Active Missouri COTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience in skilled nursing facility settings preferred. Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically NetHealth and PCC, preferred. Ability to meet therapist productivity requirement (90%) and adhere to facility and company policies and procedures. Must be present in the building and clocked in to receive guaranteed hours. Preferred Qualifications Previous travel or contract therapy experience. Experience working with higher census and skilled mix in SNF environments. Comfortable following facility dress code (black scrubs). Assignment Details Full-time schedule. 35 hours must be worked in-facility to receive guaranteed hours.
Therapist productivity requirement:
90%. Therapist must be present in the building to receive guaranteed hours.

NetHealth and PCC. Therapist follows company policies and procedures and facility dress code (black scrubs). You will provide therapeutic interventions, document progress in the EMR, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support discharge planning and restorative programs to enhance resident independence. Location Highlights Jefferson City provides access to state government and outdoor recreation within short drives. The city is home to the Missouri State Capitol and the Missouri State Museum, located in the downtown area. Outdoor options include the Katy Trail State Park within a short drive for hiking and cycling, and the nearby Lake of the Ozarks region is approximately 60 miles away for boating and waterfront recreation.
