Overview The Administrative Therapy Aide is responsible for providing administrative support at the front desk and coordination and organization of departmental supplies and space. Assisting therapists with patient interventions to facilitate the overall organization and effectiveness of the department. The Administrative Therapy Aide coordinates and performs technical and administrative activities including patient check-in, scheduling, registration, and account management. The Administrative Therapy Aide is also responsible for safe operations of the department including maintaining departmental safety records, providing staff education and information on safety matters and appropriate cleaning and storage of therapy equipment and supplies. May supervise PT/OT volunteers and assist with PT/OT student aide supervision when requested. Provides clear communication with patients, families, co-workers, and all members of the health care team utilizing the principles of service excellence.
