Schedule:
36 hours per week guaranteed
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Valid certification and registration as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Previous experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure in Montana) Ability to adapt to new environments and multi-disciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Occupational Therapists in the implementation of treatment plans for patients with various conditions Help patients develop, recover, and improve skills needed for daily living and working Accurately document patient progress and collaborate with team members Educate patients and families about ongoing therapy needs and support Support facility standards for safety, patient care, and quality improvement
