Leading Rehab Setting What We're Looking For:
Education :
High School Diploma or GED, required.
Experience :
One year of proven patient care experience demonstrating skills appropriate to the position, preferred.
What You'll Do:
Assists in carrying out therapy treatment as directed by a PT, PTA, OT, OTA, or SLP, in a therapeutic manner. Ensures equipment necessary for therapy is available. Prepares gym/patient's room/patient to participate in therapy. Applies and/or assists patients with assistive devices and therapeutic equipment. Cleans gyms/patient rooms/equipment consistent with policies and procedures. Maintains safe environment. Recognizes and reports changes in patient behavior/ability to carry out treatment as requested. Collects vital signs as appropriate and reports results to therapist. Independently completes delegated tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
