Job Description
Job description We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in LaMoure, ND. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for daily living. today and a recruiter will reach out with the details. Minimum Requirements Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required. Active North Dakota state COTA license or ability to obtain prior to start. BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred. Experience providing restorative programs, ADL training, and adaptive equipment recommendations preferred.

Expected May 11, 2026 (start date provided by client). Client requires COTA to work on-site at the facility. Floating to other facilities may be required if requested by the client. The town is near the James River, providing fishing and boating opportunities within a short drive, and it is approximately 1 hour from the Missouri River and Lewis and Clark Lake recreational areas. LaMoure is within reasonable driving distance to Lake Sakakawea State Park and Fort Ransom State Park, both offering hiking and camping (commute times vary by park, generally 1-2 hours). The area serves as a practical base for clinicians seeking a rural, community-focused assignment with easy access to local farmers markets, community events, and regional highways linking to larger cities such as Bismarck (about 1.5-2 hours by car) for expanded dining and cultural options.
