Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity making a difference in the lives of students as a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)! Work primarily with high school students, with some possibility of supporting PreK as well, and collaborate closely with an experienced onsite Occupational Therapist who will offer supervision and guidance. This flexible position, near Concord, NH, is perfect for professionals looking to balance work with their other commitments. This assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 12th, 2026. You will work 15 hours per week, spread over two days—ideally Tuesdays and Thursdays, though there is flexibility to accommodate your scheduling needs.
Qualifications:
Valid COTA certification and licensure Experience or coursework related to working in educational settings preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective student and staff collaboration Flexibility and adaptability to support a diverse student population across different ages (mainly high school, with some PreK) Previous school-based experience is a plus, but mentorship will be provided
Key Responsibilities:
Implement occupational therapy interventions and activities as outlined by the supervising OT Support students in acquiring skills necessary for academic and daily life success Document student progress and assist with reports in accordance with school and state guidelines Communicate regularly with supervising OT, educators, and family as needed Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
