Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity working directly with students to help them thrive in their educational journeys. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), your expertise and compassion will be valued as you work under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, delivering transformative interventions that foster student growth and success.
Preferred qualifications include:
Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program Active state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) A minimum of one year's recent experience as a COTA, with school or pediatric background preferred Ability to pass a comprehensive background check Commitment to fulfilling state and district requirements for continuing education and professional development In this role, you will: Implement evidence-based therapeutic activities to address students' individual needs and goals Monitor student progress, maintaining accurate and compliant records Collaborate closely with OTs, educators, families, and other team members, contributing insights and observations Support goal planning and make adaptive recommendations to enhance student participation and learning Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with advances in occupational therapy practices You'll enjoy weekly pay, robust healthcare packages (medical, dental, vision), 401K with employer match, paid training, life insurance, and referral bonuses.
