Job Description

Provides clinical support for the Rehabilitation Services department to ensure timely, efficient, professional, and courteous patient care. Under the direction of PT/PTA, facilitates patient mobility by (1) walking patients (2) transferring patients bed to chair (3) repositioning patients (4) performing therapy provided therapeutic exercises and range of motion. The Rehabilitation Mobility Aide utilizes patient handling equipment, transfer devices, and protective equipment in accordance with guidelines and vendor specification. Candidate must possess good communication skills and demonstrate the ability to work as a member of the health care team.
Salary Range:
$18.89-$25.56 an hour The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Job Requirements Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Experience:
At least one year of patient care experience preferred. Acute care or long-term care experience as a Patient Care Technician, CNA or LPN preferred. Skills (to include equipment, software, etc. ) Proficient in basic word processing and computer data entry.
