Job Description

Overview Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health, the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist will provide rehabilitation services to patients as a part of their overall treatment. The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist will work on a Full-Time basis out of Helio Health's Outpatient Program . While primarily working from our office, this position will at times work in the community itself. In addition to Helio Health's comprehensive benefits package, this position is eligible for a Sign-On incentiv e up to $1,500 !
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour. Responsibilities Maintain a case load. Perform primary psychiatric rehabilitation including screening, intake, orientation, evaluation, referral, patient education, case management, reporting and record keeping, discharge planning, and consultation with other professionals. Assist with the training of staff, volunteers and student interns as assigned. Exhibit exemplary knowledge of the biopsychosocial process of substance use disorders/recovery, behavioral health, self-help group processes, and principles of counseling. Relate effectively with staff, patients, and professional community while upholding appropriate standards of confidentiality. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree preferred, Associate's Degree required. One to three years of employment experience working with individuals with substance use and serious mental health disorders. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for the educational requirements. Proficiency with basic computer applications.
