Schedule:
36 hours guaranteed per week 13-week assignment
Qualifications:
Current COTA license in South Dakota (or eligibility to obtain) Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Previous hospital or skilled nursing facility experience preferred Ability to adapt to new settings and quickly learn facility protocols Strong communication and documentation skills Passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
Execute therapeutic interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Assess and document patient progress, adapting care plans as needed Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote patient recovery and independence Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and adaptive tools Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility policies
