PSR Specialists are responsible for helping our clients achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life. This role focuses on promoting recovery, enhancing social functioning, and fostering community integration through evidence-based practices such as CAT Therapy and IMR. This is an independent contractor position with flexible hours. Prior experience in the field is preferred; however paid training is provided. Key Responsibilities Routinely meet with Amber Lantern, LLC clients to provide PSR services. Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans in collaboration with clients and treatment teams. Teach and reinforce daily living skills, coping strategies, and social skills. Support clients in areas such as employment readiness, education, housing, and community engagement. Advocate for client needs within the community and service systems. Coordinate care with mental health professionals, social services, and other community resources. Track client progress and adjust plans as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards. Encourage self-advocacy and independence in clients. Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field is required. 1-2 years working in mental health or rehabilitation setting is preferred. Must pass a criminal background check. Experience with recovery-oriented and person-centered approaches. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of community resources and psychosocial rehabilitation principles. Ability to travel to various work locations within the San Antonio Metro area.
