Job description We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Warsaw, VA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for everyday life. If you are ready to make a measurable impact, apply and a recruiter will reach out with details. Minimum Requirements Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Virginia required to start the assignment. Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility required. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Ability to implement individualized therapy plans and provide direct patient care under supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Experience documenting patient progress and modifying treatment plans under OT guidance. Effective communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills required. Ability to ensure patient safety during therapy sessions and provide patient/family education.
