Job Description

Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support student development in a school setting located in Rutland, VT. This contract position allows you to apply your specialized skills to foster children's growth and enhance their school experiences through targeted therapy interventions.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Experience working with children in a school environment preferred Ability to implement occupational therapy plans collaboratively with educators and families Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students, focusing on improving their functional abilities and participation in school activities Assess students' needs and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop and adjust therapy goals Document student progress and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
