Day Shift Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention.
Pay range:
Hourly$19.05 - $28.58 The aide's function is to assist various levels of personnel in their related activities. Major portion of time is involved in set-ups for patients, transportation to and from department, assisting in routine ambulation, therapeutic techniques, general clean-up and clerical assignments. Rehabilitation Aide Part-Time 0.8 FTE 32 hours per week Clinic Hours 8 hour Day shift
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma required. Current BLS certification is required. Previous Rehab experience preferred. Demonstrate interpersonal skills. Demonstrate good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks Basic computer proficiency Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Demonstrate ability to work efficiently
Working Conditions:
Well-lit, climate controlled environment. Minimal potential for exposure to fumes, noise, chemicals, adverse weather conditions.
Physical Requirements:
Walking continuously, alternating with standing. Frequent lifting. Must be able to lift, move or assist patients with help of other staff members using proper body mechanics. Frequent carrying of 20-30 pounds for distances of up to 100 ft., pushing/pulling, bending, crouching, crawling, squatting, getting in awkward positions and stair-climbing. Vision correctable to within normal limits. Hearing to a degree sufficient to respond to emergency situations for staff and patient safety. Why join Overlake?
