Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' physical, psychological, and social needs related to their occupation
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities
  • Provide therapy interventions to address deficits in motor skills, sensory processing, and cognitive abilities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
  • Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to enhance independence
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pediatric development
  • Experience in occupational health or acute care settings is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Note:
Experience with medical imaging is not directly relevant to the role of an Occupational Therapist.
