Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' physical, psychological, and social needs related to their occupation
- Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities
- Provide therapy interventions to address deficits in motor skills, sensory processing, and cognitive abilities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to enhance independence
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pediatric development
- Experience in occupational health or acute care settings is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
