Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students within a dynamic PreK - 8 educational setting in Peoria, AZ. This contract position is set for the 2026/2027 school year, beginning at the start of the academic year and concluding at its end. The role offers the chance to work with varied age groups, including PreK only, K-6, and K-8, allowing flexibility and growth in pediatric occupational therapy within school environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to students ranging from PreK to 8th grade. Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to student development.Desired Qualifications:
Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Experience or interest in pediatric occupational therapy within school settings. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, teachers, and staff. Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs and school schedules.Location:
