Your Role:
Home Health Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) As a Home Health OTA , you will provide skilled Occupational Therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist in accordance with physician orders and individualized treatment plans. You will help patients improve functional mobility, safety, strength, and independence within their home environment. Key Responsibilities Provide skilled Home Health Occupational Therapy Assistant services in patients' homes Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Occupational Therapist Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, transfers, and upper extremity function Reinforce therapeutic exercises, adaptive strategies, and rehabilitation techniques Educate patients and caregivers on home safety, fall prevention, adaptive equipment, and energy conservation Observe, document, and communicate patient progress and condition changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist and care team Complete timely and accurate electronic clinical documentation in compliance with Home Health regulations and company standards Collaborate with nurses, therapists, physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members to support patient goals and outcomes Maintain professionalism, productivity, and excellent customer service during all patient interactions Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) program Active and unrestricted Arizona Occupational Therapy Assistant license Current CPR certification Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience preferred Home Health experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills Ability to work independently within a Home Health environment Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of current automobile insurance Ability to travel throughout assigned Arizona coverage areas What You'll Gain Flexible work schedule and autonomy Competitive per-visit compensation Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities Supportive leadership and clinical mentorship Meaningful one-on-one patient relationships The opportunity to make a lasting impact through compassionate Home Health Rehab care Apply Today If you are a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) looking for a rewarding opportunity in Home Health, Mobile Care, Geriatrics, and In-Home Patient Care , we encourage you to apply today.
