Position Overview As a COTA you will be collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you'll participate in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, ensuring each patient receives the highest standard of care. Responsibilities Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients. Support patients in exercises and activities that improve their daily living skills. Monitor and document patient progress and report to the occupational therapist. Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and at-home exercises. Maintain and organize therapy equipment and treatment areas. Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care and strategies for improvement. Provide encouragement and motivation to patients during therapies. Requirements Must be a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with current licensure. Associate's degree from an accredited COTA program required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Compassionate attitude toward patients and their families. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and occupational therapy practices. Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred. Salary - $38-$43/hr
