30 Hours per week Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Hayward, CA. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to assist patients in developing, recovering, and maintaining the skills needed for daily living and functional independence. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is committed to delivering high-quality rehabilitative care in a collaborative clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional activity programs Observe, document, and report patient progress and response to treatment Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and assistive devices Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient recovery goals Qualifications Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred Entry-level candidates with less than one year of experience will be considered Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare setting For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
