Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in a school-based setting. This part-time position offers the chance to make a genuine impact, working just two days per week near Lindsay, CA. Key Skills & Experience:
Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Previous experience in a school environment is highly valued Understanding of a wide range of student needs, including those with IEPs and 504 plans Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, therapists, and school staff Ability to implement therapy plans in both individual and group settings Excellent organizational and communication strengths
Primary Responsibilities:
Support Occupational Therapist in delivering direct therapy services to students Assist with the execution of individualized and group occupational therapy interventions Collect data on student progress and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with classroom educators and parents to help integrate strategies Attend school meetings and contribute insights to support student success Create and adapt materials and activities to foster skill development and participation Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth This contract offers an attractive part-time schedule—working just two days per week—ideal for professionals seeking flexibility or supplemental experience.
