Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Active COTA license (state credentials current and in good standing) Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Solid understanding of IEPs, goal setting, and therapy documentation Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Collaborative approach, comfortable working alongside teachers, therapists, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to IEP goals under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Assist in developing and implementing therapy interventions to enhance students' participation in classroom activities Collect data, document progress, and communicate regularly with both clinical and educational teams Support adaptive equipment use and modify classroom materials as needed Participate in team meetings, contributing insights for student plans Maintain compliance with special education policies and procedures Experience a rewarding contract role where your expertise as a COTA helps students succeed at school and beyond.
