Our Approach At Community Autism Services, we believe occupational therapy is most effective when delivered in a child's natural environment with active caregiver involvement. As an OTA, you will implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans developed by a supervising, California-licensed Occupational Therapist. Therapy focuses on functional outcomes within daily routines-helping children improve fine motor skills, sensory regulation, self-care (ADLs), play skills, and overall independence while empowering caregivers to carry over strategies outside of sessions. All services are delivered in accordance with California supervision and scope of practice regulations. Hourly range:

Effectively implements OT-directed interventions Qualifications Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Active California OTA license required Completion of OTA-required fieldwork per California regulations Minimum of 6 months' pediatric experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Commitment to ethical, family-centered care Not Ready to Make the Jump-but Know Someone Who Is? We offer $500 external referral bonuses for OT referrals and $250 for OTA referrals. If your referral is hired and employed with us for 90 days, you get paid.
