Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Salary:
$35.87 to $47.36 per hour ($74,880 to $98,508 annually) Requirements to Apply Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Valid California Occupational Therapy Assistant license or proof of eligibility Minimum two years of Occupational Therapy Assistant experience in a clinical setting serving frail or elderly populations Knowledge and skills to treat elderly participants with complex care needs Reliable transportation Full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant providing restorative and rehabilitative occupational therapy services to elderly participants in a center-based care program in Stockton, California. Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support occupational therapy services for older adults in a collaborative care environment. Working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the COTA will implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve independence, safety, and functional performance in activities of daily living. Responsibilities include assisting with patient assessments, administering therapeutic interventions, monitoring participant progress, coordinating rehabilitation activities, and documenting services in accordance with established care plans. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, and experienced in supporting frail or elderly individuals with complex rehabilitation needs.
