Position Details Position:

for OTR's hourly and salary options available. $50.00

• Competitive! For COTA's Pay range is $32
• $47 per hour.

Part-time availability

Work Schedule:

3 days available (Tuesday-Thursday) depending on provider availability and needs. Job Responsibilities Assessing the patient's physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan Giving advice and providing support for family members and Carers Assessing the home, school and work environments of the patient Installing the necessary equipment in the classroom for children with disabilities and teaching them how to use the equipment Helping children and adult patients to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances Assisting patients' exercise for pain relief Reviewing the patient's progress and adapting the treatment accordingly Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

Practitioner has a minimum 0-2 years of experience as an OTR/L in a pediatric setting. License in the state of California and licensure from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy). OT must have the background and knowledge to assess and serve clients of all ages with a variety of disabilities and sensory needs. Experience in pediatrics (i.e. fieldwork, related field) does not qualify as licensed experience.
