Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract A contract Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available in Ventura, CA, supporting an elementary school caseload. This role requires availability for 2 days per week, with 8-hour shifts totaling 16 hours weekly. The assignment is immediate and runs through June 12th.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students. Collaborate with school staff and therapists to support individualized education plans (IEPs). Document student progress and maintain accurate records. Assist in implementing therapy plans designed to improve student function and participation.

Qualifications:

Valid COTA certification. Experience working with school-age children, preferably in an elementary school setting. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication and organizational skills.
