Key Qualifications:
Current and valid state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Experience working in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred Strong collaboration and communication abilities for working closely with OTs, teachers, and families Ability to adapt interventions for a diverse K-12 student caseload Comfortable utilizing virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom) for interviews and potential meetings Passion for supporting students in achieving their educational and functional goals
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy interventions as directed by an Occupational Therapist, tailoring activities for students across a variety of grade levels Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP goals and therapeutic strategies Document student progress and maintain clear, accurate records Support students in developing fine and gross motor skills, sensory integration, and adaptive techniques for school success Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent communications as needed
