Both roles work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide trauma-informed, evidence-based pediatric occupational therapy services. The OT provides evaluations, treatment planning, and clinical oversight The COTA provides skilled direct intervention under OT supervision Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive pediatric OT evaluations Develop individualized treatment plans and home programs Provide sensory integration, fine motor, gross motor, and functional interventions Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary team members Supervise and support COTAs and OT students (as applicable) Maintain documentation, compliance, and licensure requirements OT Compensation & Benefits $55•$65 per hour OR $85,000•$95,000 annually Salary option available Paid time off included for salaried positions OT Requirements Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy Active Colorado OT license NBCOT certification (OTR) required Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)•Key Responsibilities Provide direct therapeutic support under OT supervision Implement individualized treatment plans Support sensory, motor, and functional skill development Build rapport and engage children through strengths-based care Communicate progress with supervising OT and team members Maintain timely and accurate documentation COTA Compensation $35•$42 per hour COTA Requirements Active Colorado COTA licensure (or eligibility to obtain) COTA certification required Strong communication and teamwork skills Shared Qualifications (Both Roles) Passion for working with children across developmental stages Strong interpersonal and family-centered communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Physical ability to meet pediatric therapy demands Commitment to trauma-informed, whole-child care Benefits & Perks Health, dental, and vision insurance CEU reimbursement and professional development support Employee assistance program Wellness initiatives Referral program Team events and celebrations Opportunities for growth and advancement Why Join Whole Kids Co.
