Good Samaritan Health Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our healthcare and medical services team. As part of our mission-driven organization, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to underserved communities with a focus on holistic health and wellness outcomes. In this role, you will assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans designed to help patients improve their daily living and working environments. You will monitor and document patient progress, provide education to patients and their families, and participate in team meetings to ensure the delivery of compassionate, integrated care. We offer a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and a focus on meaningful patient outcomes. Candidates should possess an Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy, hold a current COTA certification, and have CPR certification. Join us to make a difference in the community while growing professionally. Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of personalized treatment plans. Help patients improve their daily living and working environments through effective therapy execution. Monitor and document patient progress and report back to the supervising occupational therapist. Educate patients and their families about the use of adaptive techniques and equipment. Participate in team meetings to evaluate and improve patient care strategies.
