OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT

Per Diem Location:
Lake Wales Care Center, Lake Wales, Florida Lake Wales Care Center is seeking an innovative and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehabilitation team. The Occupational Therapy Assistant implements and makes recommendations for updates to occupational therapy programs for a diverse population of residents. The facility is under new ownership .
Per Diem :
Flexible schedules during week and weekend to accommodate resident population and to allow for a balanced work-life.
Pay:
Excellent Per Diem rates based on experience. Perks and Benefits- Job stability in supportive in-house environment Weekly Pay Supportive Director of Rehabilitation Job Duties - Perform screenings and evaluations of residents with physical and cognitive functioning impairments and other conditions, developing and implementing appropriate Occupational Therapy plans of care while adhering to federal and state regulations and clinical standards. Delivers skilled occupational therapy services with the appropriate medically necessary interventions to improve, maintain or prevent decline with their cognition, self care and physical functions. Complete comprehensive documentation for resident care including progress notes, care plans, standardized test, discharge summaries and billing. Provide consultation and education to residents, families, caregivers, and others to promote quality care and resident outcomes. Job Qualifications - Must have or be eligible for Florida Occupational Therapy Assistant license. Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Minimum of associate degree in occupational therapy assistant All experience levels considered. IND123
