Breakthrough Therapy, LLC (BTT) is a growing private outpatient pediatric practice in Miami, FL. We are dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based therapy for children with special needs. Our services include physical, occupational, and speech therapy delivered in clinic, home, school, daycare, and virtual environments. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who enjoys working with children and families. Work in a variety of pediatric settings including clinic, home, school, and community Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment Opportunities to build strong relationships with families Professional growth and continuing education support Flexible scheduling with autonomy in managing your caseload Key Responsibilities Implement occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist Provide services in natural environments such as homes, daycares, and community settings to support functional development Educate and coach caregivers on strategies to support their child's daily living and developmental skills Manage your caseload, including scheduling and session planning Complete accurate and timely documentation including treatment notes, progress reports, and billing Maintain clear and professional communication with families and team members Collaborate with physical therapists, speech therapists, and other providers Follow all ethical, legal, and professional standards Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Active Florida COTA license required CPR certification required Pediatric experience preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between client locations What We Are Looking For Passion for working with children and families Strong organizational and time management skills A proactive and solution-oriented mindset Commitment to delivering high-quality, individualized care Apply Today If you are ready to grow your career while making a meaningful difference, we would love to hear from you.
