COTA Job Type Contract School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Opportunity Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Florida. Previous experience working in a school setting is required. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Dedication to promoting the well-being and development of students with diverse abilities. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to special education and occupational therapy.

Pay:
$35+ hourly, dependent on experience
Caseload:
PreK-12, discussed in an interview Guaranteed hours, competitive hourly pay, and a weekly direct deposit! Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). As a school-based COTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of students within a supportive school district.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate and assist the district Occupational Therapist (OT). Develop and implement effective occupational therapy interventions to enhance students' participation in academic and extracurricular activities. Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create a supportive and inclusive environment for students with diverse needs. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant records. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to the development and review of students' educational plans.
